From Grief to Gold: The Story Behind Today, Tomorrow & Always
There’s something sacred about holding a memory in your hands. Not just a photo or a fleeting moment—but a tangible piece of someone you’ve loved. That’s exactly why Today, Tomorrow & Always was born.
Back in 2018, this journey started not as a business plan, but as a love letter to grief. After losing my partner and best friend, Manny in 2015, I found myself desperate for something—anything—that could anchor me to the weight of his memory. I didn’t want the world to move on like he never existed. I didn't understand how people were just going about their day, didn't they feel the earth shaking under their feet representing a major event? So, on the 3rd anniversary of his passing, I began crafting pieces that could carry not just DNA, but legacy. What started at the kitchen table became a full-time mission: to make sure no family is left with empty hands when their hearts are heavy.
We were slowly expanding our name and building our brand. Then, in 2020, COVID hit. It still feels unbelievable that someone broke the entire world.
Like so many small businesses, 2020 nearly broke us. Lockdowns meant closures, delays, and the emotional toll of customers navigating grief in isolation. But we adapted, improving processes, and holding space virtually when we couldn’t physically. Every order during that time felt like an act of shared resilience. And we’re still here.
Since then, the world has taken notice. We’ve been finalists in multiple national awards and proudly took home multiple wins that remind us we’re not just making keepsakes—we’re making a difference. We’ve also been honoured to be featured in multiple publications, both local and international, that share our mission far and wide, amplifying the voices of those who need comfort the most.
And now, six years on, we’re growing again.
After putting a survey out this month to our community to see if they'd be interested in the vision we had for the future of TTA we made our biggest investment in machinery to date. In July, we’ll be expanding our offerings beyond DNA jewellery and display keepsakes to include beautifully engraved keepsakes, fingerprint and photo memorials, and custom laser-cut tributes. It’s the same heart-led service, just with more ways to honour your stories.
So here's to the next chapter of TTA and to supporting families through life's celebrations as well as through moments of commemoration. We're here for it all.
Because love doesn’t end when someone is gone—and neither should the memories.
